So true. I keep finding, over and over again, that my discomfort in a given situation is often a key that I’m pushing myself, in a good way. Obviously not all discomfort is a good thing, but there’s a certain kind that can be a sign that you’re on the right path. It’s a fallacy to think that growing pains are only physical. There is a very real mental discomfort zone that you have to get through if you want to get anywhere worthwhile – I think that holds for any new endeavor, internal or external.
